Last week, Capcom hinted that on Monday (that's today!), a game would be revealed on Xbox Live. That game, as we've come to find out, is Lost Planet 2. While we liked the first Lost Planet, we aren't super excited about this. We were hoping for something a bit more spectacular, but this will have to do. Why all the secrecy and hype? I don't know. One thing's for sure - Lost Planet 2 will launch multi-platform, not as a timed Xbox 360 exclusive. Capcom has made it clear during their 2008 fiscal year shareholder's report that all future releases will be multi-platform.

It's official! As of 2008, about 58% of the U.S. population over the age of 13 plays some form of video games. Gamers are slowly taking over the world, and people are beginning to realize that games are a legitimate and relatively inexpensive form of entertainment. Games are no longer the weird hobby your neighbor's basement-dwelling kid enjoys - it's an activity that the whole family can participate in, young and old.
